The Nitric Acid Passivator – 90E accelerates the formation of the Chrome Oxide protective layer on stainless steel after pickling or mechanical finishing. This solution meets the requirements. Although this layer will form naturally when in a good clean air supply it can take anything up to 14 days for complete surface protection.
The solution can be applied by acid resistant brushes, immersion in a bath or by using a chemical resistant spray unit such as the Antox hand operated sprayer.
